Ham and cheese sliders are one of those back-pocket recipes everyone needs. They're quick to assemble, crowd-pleasing, and oh-so reliable. These bake up warm and melty with a buttery, savory topping that makes them perfect for parties, game days, or an easy weeknight dinner.
1package of 12 slider buns, such as King's Hawaiian rolls
8ozsliced cheddar cheese About 9 slices
¾lbsliced ham
⅓cupbutter, melted
2tablespoonfresh green onion, mincedAbout 2 small green onions
1clove garlic, minced
1tablespoonDijon mustard
1teaspoonWorcestershire sauce
1teaspoonpoppy seeds
pinch of salt and pepper
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.Slice your Hawaiian rolls in half. Lay the bottom half of the rolls on a baking pan and layer on ham followed by cheese slices. Replace the top bun and set aside.
In a small bowl combine melted butter, green onions, garlic, Dijon mustard and Worcestershire sauce with a pinch of salt & pepper. Brush the seasoned butter mixture over the top of the sliders, being sure to coat all the nooks and crannies.
Cover the sliders with foil then bake at 350 degrees F for about 18-20 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake uncovered another 8-10 minutes until golden brown. Serve warm and enjoy!
