Ham and Cheese Sliders

Ham and cheese sliders are one of those back-pocket recipes everyone needs. They're quick to assemble, crowd-pleasing, and oh-so reliable. These bake up warm and melty with a buttery, savory topping that makes them perfect for parties, game days, or an easy weeknight dinner.

  • Aluminum foil
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • pastry brush

Ingredients
  

  • 1 package of 12 slider buns, such as King's Hawaiian rolls
  • 8 oz sliced cheddar cheese About 9 slices
  • ¾ lb sliced ham
  • cup butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoon fresh green onion, minced About 2 small green onions
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds
  • pinch of salt and pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
    Slice your Hawaiian rolls in half. Lay the bottom half of the rolls on a baking pan and layer on ham followed by cheese slices. Replace the top bun and set aside.
  • In a small bowl combine melted butter, green onions, garlic, Dijon mustard and Worcestershire sauce with a pinch of salt & pepper.
    Brush the seasoned butter mixture over the top of the sliders, being sure to coat all the nooks and crannies.
  • Cover the sliders with foil then bake at 350 degrees F for about 18-20 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake uncovered another 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
    Serve warm and enjoy!
