    1. From Our Mothers' Kitchens: A Community Cookbook Benefiting Preserve International

    There are certain recipes that stay with you. Meals tied to people, memories, and moments that mattered.

    From Our Mothers' Kitchens is a community cookbook made up of those recipes and the stories behind them. And every purchase helps support Preserve International's work helping families preserve food after harvest so it lasts through the lean season.

    Why It Matters

    In many parts of the world, food is abundant during harvest, and scarce just months later. Through simple preservation methods like drying, canning, and improved storage, families can keep more of what they grow and have food year-round.

    This cookbook is a small way to be part of that work.

    How to get involved

    Our Mission:

    A percentage of all proceeds made by The Jam Jar Kitchen blog are donated to Preserve International to fund empowerment programs for women small-scale farmers in northern Uganda. Join our mission to fight hunger and seasonal poverty through innovative post harvest and food preservation technology and training!
