Hi! I’m Elizabeth.

Hi! My name is Elizabeth Jordan-Flight and I am the woman behind The Jam Jar Kitchen. I believe that healthy, delicious home-cooked food is one of life’s greatest pleasures and I hope you enjoy my fresh and fun recipes and tips.

I live in my hometown of Arlington, Texas with my British-born husband Tom and our two littles, Arlo & Lila. I am also the Founder and Executive Director of Preserve International, a nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting food waste, hunger and poverty through the provision of innovative rurally-minded food preservation technology and training to small-scale farmers in East Africa.
