    What is Marmalade Tequila Smash?

This cocktail recipe puts a twist on the more classic Tequila Sunrise and Tequila Tonic by utilizing Orange Marmalade, which provides both sweetness and flavor.

Which Orange Marmalade should I use?

If you are in the Dallas-Fort Worth area I highly recommend using Preserve International's Orange Marmalade. Not only is it delicious and handmade here in my home kitchen, but 100% of the proceeds go towards empowering women small-scale farmers to fight seasonal hunger and poverty through innovative food preservation programs.

Check out the Preserve International website for more information!

Marmalade Tequila Tonic with Fitch & Leedes Premium Indian Tonic

    Ingredients:

    • Tequila: I recommend using a Tequila blanco as it's a more subtle flavor. Any of your favorite brands will work!
    • Premium Indian Tonic: Indian Tonic is basically just your classic clean, crisp tonic. I highly recommend using a premium brand such as Fitch & Leedes as it really does make a difference in flavor!
    • Lime Juice: Freshly squeezed is always best!
    • Orange Marmalade: If you're in the Dallas/Fort Worth area I recommend buying Preserve International's Orange Marmalade. If you can't get your hands on any than your favorite brand will do!
    • Ice

Tips & Tricks for a perfect cocktail

This recipe is pretty straight forward and easy to get right. They key is making sure that the marmalade is really well incorporated into the tequila and lime before pouring over ice. Shaking is great, but stirring works better when working with jam and preserves.
